Stephen Doherty wins 2010-11 Club Championship

Having been joint winner of last season's Club Championship, Stephen Doherty produced another outstanding performance to finish clear first on 5.5/6, failing to win only one game. Stephen has now won the tournament outright or shared first place for three seasons running. The surprize of the tournament though was Alex Fisher who was at the bottom of the grading list but whose swashbucking attacks saw him bounce back from an early defeat to score 4.5/6. This gave him a fantastic 1737 grading performance and allowed him to finish in clear second place.
