Inverclyde Central Chess Club has re-opened for the new chess season, and has moved to a new venue: The Royale Social Club, Royal Street, (access from St. John's Road) in Gourock, The club meets on Monday nights from 7.30pm. New members, including juniors, are very welcome!

* The club will begin its campaign in the Glasgow League with a very difficult away fixture against reigning champions Hamilton on 25th October.
* Inverclyde's Andrew Curran produced a fantastic performance to win the Major competition at the recent Largs Chess Congress
