Hamilton A 6.5 - 1.5 Inverclyde Central

An understrength Inverclyde Central went down fighting against the reigning champions. Kevin McDonald won on the top board and Stephen Hilton secured a draw against his strong opponent. However, the grading difference between the teams proved to be too great as Hamilton swept the remaining boards, despite strong performances from Marc Sheridan, and Andrew Curran, making his debut for the club. Despite the margin of defeat, Inverclyde can take some encouragement from the performance against such strong opponents. The results are show below:
