Inverclyde Central fought well against Glasgow League title contenders Cathcart A, but were beaten 2.5-5.5. Stephen Hilton, Jim McGranaghan and David Logue drew with their opponents, but Cathcart's players proved too strong on four of the eight boards boards ensuring victory for their team.
